St. John’s has the best of both worlds. Established and time-honored traditions that bind us together, and the contemporary, welcoming atmosphere many people are looking for in today’s churches.
Our mission is simple: Saved by Grace - Led by the Spirit - Called to Serve.
What does this mean?
- We believe we have been saved by God’s grace. With the sacrifice of His son Jesus on the cross, God has set us free from the bonds of sin. This gift of grace is given freely to all believers.
- We believe we are led by the Holy Spirit. God’s spirit is active in our lives. If we listen with open hearts, we will hear His calling for us in the world.
- We believe we are called to serve. Thankful for God’s amazing gift of grace and empowered to act by His spirit, we believe we can reflect God’s kingdom here on earth by lifting up and helping those in need.
