Chronic Disciples Small Group
The purpose of Chronic Disciples is to support individuals who are dealing with chronic illnesses or pain through the words of the Bible and the support of Christ and Christians. The group is intended for all ages.
InnerAction Small Group
Will you "InnerAct" with God? This new and exciting small group is an opportunity to dive into the meaningful relationship with God that we have been looking for. In that very relationship, we can be transformed by God's influence. How will you allow God to influence you from the inside-out? Know that you are invited to partner with God for this project the rest of your life.
Men's Accountability Group
Do you know what it's like to have New Year's resolutions disappear by mid-January? I sure do. I've had many years of practice at it! One way to increase your odds of success is to have an accountability partner. An accountability partner can help you achieve your goals by doing simple things such as checking in with you once a week or giving an encouraging word now and then. Our meetings involve fellowship, goal setting and planning, follow up, and celebration! Our group's success depends on members being caring, consistent with attendance and follow through and respecting each other's privacy.
Parenting/Grand-Parenting
What will tomorrow bring? Have you ever felt that you needed a handbook for better parenting? You might be surprised what the Bible has to tell us about our roles as parents and grandparents. With the help from an audio series from Chuck Swindoll titled
Parenting from Surviving to Thriving our goal is to provide you with encouragement, biblical principles and insight that will help you discover what God intends for you and your family.
St. John's Drama Ministry
Want to open minds and touch hearts? Consider joining the new St. John's Drama Ministry! Drama Ministry participants will perform 4-5 dramatic skits for the congregation throughout the year. The group will meet approximately once a month, dependent on participants involved. Confirmed members are welcome.
Yarn Ministry, "Casting On For Christ"
We knit prayer shawls and pray for the recipients so that the shawls become tangible prayers that they may wrap themselves in. We knit and crochet them for anybody--men, women and children--in need of comfort. We welcome anyone to join us, even beginners.
